
The Tarma QuickInstall main window contains the usual Windows title bar, main menu, toolbar, and along the very bottom, the status bar.
The remaining window space is subdivided into three main areas. The left side contains the Navigation area, with bullets for each of the project's pages. If no project is currently open, it gives access to the TIN Assistant and Release Notes windows.
The right side is the Project contents area that contains the project pages. Only one page is visible at a time; to display another page, do one of the following:
Along the bottom is the Diagnostic messages area, which displays diagnostic messages that Tarma QuickInstall produces during project checks and builds.
When you first start Tarma QuickInstall, it has the page hints feature turned
on. Page hints are small yellow notes that appear over each project page and
contain tips about the page's purpose and its main features. To toggle page
hints on or off, click the
button
on the main toolbar.
To move from one area to the next using the keyboard, press:
The main menu equivalents are View > Go to > Next Pane and View > Go to > Previous Pane, respectively. However, most of the time you will probably just click in the area where you want to work.
