If at least one installation file is scheduled for delayed copying because its current version on the customer's computer is in use, Tarma QuickInstall's Setup does not perform the regular file self-registration actions (although REGEDIT4-style external registrations are performed as per usual), but instead schedules a system restart and registers itself as a RunOnce program to perform the file self-registration immediately after the next system start.
When the system restart occurs, Windows runs Tarma QuickInstall's Setup program in registration mode and the window shown above is displayed. This window is for information purposes only; the user cannot interact with it and it disappears automatically once file registration is complete. Usually, this takes only a few seconds.
Note - If running on Windows NT and if you checked the Require Administrator rights on the Installation page, Setup performs the same account checks as during the initial installation process. If for some reason the first system restart occurs under a different user account that does not have Administrator rights, Setup displays a message box to that effect and does not perform its file registration actions. In that case, its RunOnce program registration remains and will be restarted on the next system restart.
