Setup - Installation progress

Fields

The Installation progress page displays the progress of the installation process. It contains the following fields.

Current task

Displays the list of installation tasks that Setup performs. Completed tasks are checked off; the current task is highlighted, but not checked yet; and all remaining tasks are dimmed. See Actions below for a discussion of the installation actions performed.

Overall installation progress

Displays a progress bar that indicates the relative progress of the installation process (based on a combination of total installation size and number of tasks to be performed), plus a line of text that shows the current item of the current installation task.

Wizard buttons

See the description on the Setup - Welcome page. Note that the < Back and Next > buttons are grayed out (marked unavailable); the transition to the next page is automatic once the installation process has finished or is aborted.

Actions

The Installation Progress page is visible during the installation process proper. This is when Tarma QuickInstall's Setup program copies all installation files, registers ActiveX controls and other files, updates system settings, etc. For a detailed overview of this process, refer to Installation actions.

If the installation process completes normally, Setup then displays the Setup - Installation completed page. If the installation process fails or is cancelled by the customer, the Setup - Installation cancelled page appears instead.
